How to change your password and add a new one

The steps to change your password depends on the way you signed up on Typito. There are primarily two ways to sign up:

1. Using Email Address and Password

2. Using your Facebook or Google account

A) If you’ve signed up to Typito using your Email address and a password, please follow these steps to change your password 

1From your homepage dashboard, click on the User icon on the top right and click on the ‘Settings’ button to get to ‘Your Account’ section:

2Once you are in the “Your Account” section, you will see the “Password” field listed inside the “Profile” tab. Click on the “Password” placeholder.

3You will see two password fields. Enter the new password in the ‘New Password’ field and enter it again under the “Confirm New Password” field.

4After you’ve entered the new password in both fields, click on the “Update” button.

5Once you click ‘Update’, you’ll be asked to enter the current password in a pop-up box. After entering it, Click “Confirm” to update your password.

B) If you’ve signed up to Typito using your Facebook or Google account then follow the steps below:

1Logout of Typito and go to your login page. Click on “Forgot password ?”.

2Enter your email address linked to your Google or Facebook account. click on “Reset password” to get an email in your inbox with a link to reset your password.

3Go to your email inbox and look for an email with the subject line ‘It happens to everyone ? ’.

4Open the email and click on “RESET PASSWORD”.

5After you click on “RESET PASSWORD” you’ll be redirected to the Typito page. Enter your new password with which you will log in to your Typito account.

Once the password is updated, you can now login to your Typito account
