A template is a finished video design you fill with your own footage and words — the fastest route from a blank project to something worth publishing. Typito has 100+ professionally designed templates, all free to use.

Find a template

The library is organised by business type (corporate, real estate, e-commerce), theme (fashion, food, lifestyle) and event (webinar, holiday, promotion).

There are two ways in:

• Video Templates Library — browse typito.com/templates, click one you like, pick a format (widescreen, square, vertical) and it opens as a new project.
• Inside the editor — open the Stock Media shelf in an existing project and choose a template from there.

Make it yours

A template lands on your timeline as a set of sequences — designed clips with their overlays already in place.

1Change the text. Click any text overlay and edit it. You can also change colours, fonts and alignment from the left panel to match your brand.

2Replace the media. Select a clip and use Replace to swap in your own photo or video, or pick something from the stock library.

3Adjust the timing. Trim clips and drag overlay handles on the timeline so the pacing suits your footage.

Everything in a template is editable — nothing is locked. If a section doesn't fit your story, delete it.

Combine parts of different templates

You aren't limited to one template per video. Because templates are built from sequences, you can take the intro from one and the outro from another. See Building with Sequences.
